Flower delivery to Davle from a florist in Dolní Břežany
The market town of Davle lies about 22 km south of central Prague, where the Vltava and Sázava rivers meet.
The first reference to Davle is linked to the foundation of a Benedictine monastery on St Kilian's Island in 999, and the town regained market-town status in 2008. St Kilian's Church in southern Davle has Romanesque origins dating to the mid-12th century and is the only church in Bohemia dedicated to him. The old Davle bridge over the Vltava, built in 1905, stood in for the famous bridge at Remagen in the 1968 film. In 2014, Davle received the International Rafting Community award from the International Rafting Association, IATR.
Petr Sedláček, based in Dolní Břežany, also delivers flowers to Davle.
A bouquet can be handed to the recipient at home, at work or wherever they are staying. In Davle, examples include the school, municipal office, care home, Vltavanka cultural centre and sports hall.
