Flower delivery to Štěchovice from a local florist

The market town of Štěchovice lies on the Vltava, about 26 km south of central Prague. It had around 2,200 residents in 2025.

The first written record of Štěchovice dates to 1209, and it regained market-town status in 2006. The Štěchovice Waterworks, the second stage of the Vltava Cascade, was built between 1938 and 1947. The Church of St John of Nepomuk was built between 1911 and 1915 to a design by Kamil Hilbert, combining Art Nouveau and Neo-Romanesque styles. The Dr Edvard Beneš Bridge, built between 1937 and 1939, was the first bridge structure in Czechia with two hollow concrete arches. During the season, excursion boats on the route from Prague to the Slapy Reservoir stop here, and gold was mined in the surrounding area from the early 14th century.

A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at home, at work or wherever they happen to be. In Štěchovice, possible handover points include the school, the residential care home and the health centre. It can also be handed over at the municipal office or the multifunctional centre, which has a hall, a cinema and a library.
